BACUP maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a hard earned 1-1 draw against a strong Salford outfit last night.
The Manchester side bossed the opening 45 minutes and took the lead on the stroke of half time through Nick Robinson.
However, it was a different story after the break as Bacup got their passing game going and levelled soon after when Tony Carroll hooked Simon Heaton's cross beyond the keeper.
Manager Brent Peters said: "We showed in that second half that we are good enough to beat anyone.
"Had we played that way in the first half then we could have been looking at all three points instead of one."
