JEMAL Johnson last night quit Blackburn Rovers and signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Rovers accepted an undisclosed bid for the 21-year-old yesterday and he was due to complete his move to Molineux this morning, subject to personal terms and passing a medical.
Johnson originally joined Rovers' Academy after being released by Manchester United as a teenager, and some impressive displays in the reserves saw him promoted to the first team in Mark Hughes' first season.
However, the American-born forward has not progressed at the rate Hughes would have wanted and now Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is offering Johnson the chance to resurrect his career in the Championship.
