Blackburn Rovers' Academy side enjoyed an excellent friendly win over the weekend, beating Chelsea 3-2.
Alan Judge, Junior Dadson and an unnamed trialist got the goals for Gary Bowyer's team.
Academy director Bobby Downes said: "It was a great win.
"We took the fixture because it was obviously a great game for us to play.
"They've got the ability to go out and buy whoever they want so it was a good test for us to go to London and play against them."
Rovers' line-up was: Somedi (Arestidou), Bateson, Winnard, Pezzoni, Kavanagh (O'Connor), Ahmed, Judge (Keita), trialist, Dadson, Clarke, Hoillet (McGibbon).
Rovers' Academy team kick-off their season with a home game against Leicester at Brockhall on Saturday (12pm start).
