ROMUALD Boco's brilliant brace wasn't just Accrington Stanley's first goals since returning to the Football League - it made him £40 richer as well.
The aimiable Frenchman had a cheeky wager with captain Peter Cavanagh and Ian Craney about who would be the first to get their name on the scoresheet for the Reds.
And after Boco capitalised on a Paul Warhurst mistake in the 35th minute, his team-mates were coughing up.
But the 21-year-old Benin international was simply happy to have played his part in an important win for the Reds against Barnet.
"I'm very happy because we won and I scored two goals," he said.
"It's very nice to score the first goals for Accrington.
"It was a very big relief but we played hard to win."
He added: "I wish to score again and I hope we can win often.
"I think if we play well - like we did on Saturday - it's good for us because the team has good ambition now.
"I think we can play well."
