BURNLEY are not accepting any more postal applications for tickets for this month’s derby with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
The club is now processing applications for the allocation received and these will begin being posted out to successful applicants on Wednesday, along with a voucher for coach travel.
Blackburn have informed the club they will not reprint any mislaid tickets for this game.
Burnley fans are also advised that coach travel to this game is compulsory, with coaches leaving Turf Moor from 10.15am on October 18.
Lancashire Police will operate cordons around Ewood Park and refuse entry to any Burnley supporters who do not travel by authorised coach.
A Clarets spokesman said: “We apologise for the inconvenience these arrangements will cause some supporters, but we feel it is in everyone’s interest, especially at a proud family club like Burnley, that this game goes ahead without incident.”
