BLACKBURN Rovers will make the long trip to League One side Gillingham in the second round of this season's Carling Cup.
Rovers last faced the Gills back in May 2001 - when the two clubs met in the former Division One.
Gillingham booked their spot against Sam Allardyce's men after beating Plymouth 2-1 on Tuesday night.
The tie will be played on the week commencing August 24.
