Darwen put a dent in the promotion hopes of Oldham Town with a 2-2 draw and were unlucky not to claim all three points.
The Salmoners opened the scoring after 15 minutes as Liam McMillan latched on to a through ball to score.
Darwen were made to pay fir missed chances on the hour when Town equalised but they went in front as Paul Posteraro scored.
But a deflected shot from Stuart McGill earned Oldham a point four minutes from time.
