Swansea City boss Steve Cooper can see a mixture of frustration and determination in his players ahead of tonight’s game with Rovers.

The Swans were thrashed 5-1 at West Brom on Sunday and have won just three of their last 15 matches in all competitions.

They welcome a Rovers side buoyed their recent good run to the Liberty Stadium tonight, with Cooper hoping for a reaction.

“The mood in the camp is mixed,” he said.

“There’s only one way to get over it and that’s to get back out there and put it right. We are absolutely determined to do that.

“We had a very productive and honest meeting (on Monday). The message was that we need to stand up and be counted.

“I see a lot of disappointment and frustration in the dressing room, but I see a lot of determination as well. We know we’ve only won three of our last 15 games and we know the best part of 2,000 fans travelled (to West Brom) and many more were watching on TV.”

He added: “We know we owe them a performance and a result. We want the fans to be proud of the team, but to do that we have to do our bit and we’re so determined to do that.

“We’re proud to represent these people, so we need to put things right.”
