THE front page story (LT, Aug 10) regarding the lady, 76, sent a letter for a pregnancy test doesn't surprise me at all!
In the past 12 months I have received a note telling me that a midwife was coming to give me an ante natal test (I'm in my 60s).
I've had another note about a blood test, wrong name, wrong address. Nothing to do with me.
The whole thing may have an amusing side, but what really worries me, is that if people cannot even get the name, correct address what mistakes are they making in NHS (and private) hospitals?
Patients have to be very cautious.
Name and address supplied.
