RE the mini moto menace. Quite rightly they should not be on public highways as they have no insurance. But if they are such a problem, that means they are popular.

What is Blackburn with Darwen Council doing about it apart from removing the bikes? Nothing.

The council does not like alternative sports, particularly motorsport. People are moving away from football. They are tired of money-grabbing players and clubs giving little back.

People have found they can spend money better on themselves doing what THEY want to do.

We have in this borough plenty of areas of factory closures or derelict areas awaiting revitalising. What would be the difficulty in the council giving restricted permission for them to use the car parks or frontages?

These facilities could have a fee and Blackburn with Darwen Council would be getting some revenue rather than nothing.

This also would help police when dealing with anti-social activities which would be reduced and the riders would have no excuse as there would be a designated facility locally that they could use.
