All seems to have gone a little quiet at the moment, regarding what our MPs are up to in claiming items on expenses which we mortals have to pay for out of own pockets.
But hey, here comes the new Speaker (the one who keeps order and must be obeyed) and decides to spend £20k refurbishing the Speaker’s official flat (must have been a real mess) and new fitments included a sofa suite costing over £6k. It appears this action will be seen as the green light to all the MPs to start their spending again.
