TURTON Tower is set to host the start of a cavalcade of cars travelling around East Lancashire's museums as part of the National Heritage Weekend.
The tower will see more than four dozen vintage, veteran and classic vehicles leave on an annual tour of East Lancashire museums.
Entries are being invited for the September 10 trip, which will visit Turton Tower for the first time in its 20-year history.
The tour will take the vehicles from Turton to Rossendale Museum before calling at Weavers Triangle, Queen's Street Mill Textile Museum and Towneley Hall, Burnley.
Organiser Catherine Pearson said: "The aim of the cavalcade is to promote local museums to people who may otherwise not have visited.
Anyone interested in entering should contact 01282 412555 for a booking form.
