TWO Langho residents are counting the cost after an out of control car caused major damage to their driveways and gardens.
The incident occurred at 9pm on Wednesday in Whinney Lane and, according to police, the 30-year-old male driver from Billington left the black Renault Clio at the scene before contacting them later to admit he had lost control of the vehicle.
Police said the female owner of the car, from Clitheroe, who they believe to be the driver's girlfriend, had given him permission to use the vehicle.
They are now trying to contact the driver for further questioning.
