Thieves have stolen £3,600 from a Great Harwood petrol station cash machine in a "professional" late-night raid.
The burglary at Nightingales Garage, Whalley Road, at 1am on Tuesday, saw two men break into the business by cutting back felt and removing slates from the roof.
Sergeant Ian Corbett said it appeared they were able to access the cash trays in the ATM by using a key they found on the premises.
Sgt Corbett said CCTV footage was being studied.
Police believe that a silver car may have been involved in the raid.
