A MAN was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after colliding with a vehicle outside a Blackburn pub.
The man, believed to be a regular at the Fox and Hounds on Livesey Branch Road, was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
The incident happened at about 6.40pm yesterday and police said investigators were called in and the road was closed for a time.
Derek Howarth, landlord of the pub, said the man was a regular at his establishment and was believed to be on his way to the pub.
"He had just got home and was coming for a couple of pints before going home for his tea," said Mr Howarth.
