The most anticipated ticket rush in recent history has begun as organisers of Fusion 06 confirm their acts for the biggest indoor fashion and music event in the north.

Juggy D, Veronica and Mentor will headline the event due to take place on Sunday, 5th February 2006.

The event is being organised by Kismet PR, and sponsored by Lancashire Constabulary, Bukhara Samlesbury, Asian Image and One Stop Car Rental.

But the supply of tickets will be further limited as over 400 tickets have already been reserved for Fusion 06 which is still nearly two months away.

"I would advise anyone interested in coming to Fusion 06 to buy their tickets now," says Rosmina Adam of Kismet PR. Last year's event was a sell out with over 200 people locked out.

"There will not be many tickets left by the end of January, as we have had huge demand from our fashion outlets and the general public who have reserved their tickets. Last year's event was huge, but we hope Fusion 06 will be even bigger and better."

And with the news that one of the hottest properties in Asian pop music will be coming to the event in February - the event could well sell out by the end of the year.

Born and bred in Southall, Juggy D has been performing since the age of 14 when he won a talent competition judged by Punjabi superstar Channi from Allap.

In 2003, Juggy became part of the Rishi Rich Project. The critically acclaimed debut single "Dance with you (nachna tere naal)" featuring Jay Sean was released on Virgin Records in Sept 2003. And Juggy worked witht he likes of Craig David, Ricky Martin and Britney Spears.

Juggy D released his 1st solo album 'Juggy D' in August 2004, and set new records, being the first artist to have a fully-fledged panjabi album in the UK album charts.

Veronica was born in West london and has worked with Rishi Rich for nearly a decade. She was teamed up with Juggy D on numerous occasions and featured on the Bollywood soundtrack Hum Tum, 'U & I', along with Juggy D, produced by Rishi Rich.

Fusion 06 will also feature some of the best names in Asian fashion in the North West and beyond, with the likes of Poshaak, Fuchsia (Manchester), Chammak, Lajawaab (Burnley) and others outlets from Bradford and Birmingham.

Ambreen Hussain who went to Fusion 05 told Asian Image, "It was a really great show last year. I''m looking forward to it again next year. I'm getting my tickets early this year as last year I couldn't even get a ticket for my sister. But I've heard a lot of tickets have been sold already."

Tickets are priced at £10 in advance, with a major awareness campaign taking place to highlight the plight of the people affected by the Pakistani earthquake.
