FREE sporting activities have been laid on by Burnley Council to keep youngsters active this Christmas.
The programme, for eight-16 year olds, includes sure shot, basketball shoot out, junior swimming and multi-sports sessions, including football, kwik cricket, basketball, and netball.
Coun Colette Bailey, the council's executive member for leisure, said: "The council's sports development team has organised a sack full of sporting goodies with competitions, swimming and multi-sport fun during the Christmas break - so don't miss out on the fun."
To attend you will need an Ace Card available from the Thompson Centre, Burnley, or Padiham Leisure Centre. For more information call 01282 477305. Places are on a first come, first served basis.
