AGE Concern in Blackburn and Darwen is holding a series of information sessions to help older people take care of money matters.
Sessions will cover topics like types of accounts available, cards, sources of other finance and advice on saving and borrowing.
Vicky Shepherd, services development manager at Age Concern, said hoped there would be enough interest to run the sessions in the New Year.
She said: "With recent changes to the way people receive pensions and benefits, many have opened bank or post office accounts for the first time."
