ROVERS need to forget last night's win against Leeds and approach Chelsea with one aim in mind - to enjoy it.

It's best not to get too carried away about the Carling Cup result because Chelsea is one of those games that stands on its own.

There's no pressure on Rovers at all. That's not to say they should be relaxed, because how can you be when you go to play such an awesome side like that?

It's just that the result that really mattered was Saturday's 2-0 win over Birmingham.

At this level, they are the games Rovers really need to be serious about and make sure they win, which they have done.

Anything they can get from Chelsea, as they did at Manchester United, is just a bonus.

The game isn't about whether they play two up front to take the game to Chelsea, or be a bit more cautious and play a more defensive formation.

Games like these are all about the individuals and how they rise to the occasion.

After all, playing against a great, great team like this one is something to tell the grandchildren about.

I mean, where else would you rather be? What a lovely game to be involved in because if you get beaten, it's expected, if you get something out of it, great, you've got more than anyone thought you would.

You can argue that this kind of attitude makes it easy for Chelsea, because teams lower down the Premiership think it means more to get points off the sides around them.

That's what I was getting at when I talked about how vital the Birmingham win was, but it can work the other way.

When the pressure is off you're not scared of the opposition and that would be so easy when going to Stamford Bridge because Chelsea have such an amazing squad.

They play a 4-5-1 which rapidly turns into a 4-3-3 when they attack and it's great to watch.

Let's just hope Blackburn don't enjoy it too much!
