HAVING recently moved to this district, I feel I must speak out about the bus service which ends at 6.10pm.
Working out of normal hours, I have had to use taxis. Out of eight drivers, only one knew where Trinity Street was, two could hardly speak English, and one even admitted he was filling in for a friend.
Is it not time something was done about unregistered, non English speaking drivers? Shouldn't taxi drivers be put through a test on street locations?
I have also noticed some cars are not very clean inside.
It's time the council clamped down more on these people and gave us, the paying passengers, a fairer deal.
G SCOTT, Trinity Street, Blackburn.
