BEING a Christian and churchgoer I'm disgusted at what is going on in my home town Great Harwood of which I've always been very proud.
Having lost a brother in WW2 and an uncle in WW1 I attend the Cenotaph to pay my respect for them giving their lives, but today I feel, for what?
What are the clergy playing at refusing to be at the war memorial at 11am to conduct a Remembrance Service like all towns do. Do they think they are God?
Next year please let one of them stand up and be counted enough to say to our young men WE DO REMEMBER YOU like we the relatives and friends did today.
MARY ROBINSON (NEE LUPTON), Lytham.
