WORKERS made redundant from Crown Wallcoverings, Darwen, in July this year, are planning a family Christmas party.
The event, organised by former employee Nigel Jones and his wife Tracy with help from Darwen Lions, will take place on Saturday, December 6, at Marigolds,Darwen.
Between 3pm and 6pm and there will be a buffet, disco and visit from Father Christmas.
When redundancies were announced, Tracy set up a fund for workers' families so their children could have a summer treat.
Donations paid for a trip to Blackpool in the summer and the remainder will help fund the Christmas party, which is also open to workers without children.
