YOUNG adults tired of seasonal shopping will have a chance to rest at Blackburn Central Library in the coming weeks.
The library is offering films for ages 15 to 25 on Saturdays starting on November 29 and continuing until Christmas.
All films start at 2pm and the first to be shown is the comedy Bend it Like Beckham followed by The Mexican with Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt on December 6; The Grinch with Jim Carrey on December 13; and The Matrix on December 20.
All films are free and on a first-come, first-seated basis. The library's Chapters Caf will be open before and after the films for refreshments.
Proof of age will be required to attend the films, but you need not be a library member. Information: contact Wendy Welch on 01254 587663.
