IN relation to the article "It's Hell to Shelter For Angry Tram Passengers", on page three of the Citizen, November 7, 2003.
I would like to add my support to Cllr Jon Bamborough, Cllr Peter Callow and Blackpool Transport's ongoing efforts to resolve the Cleveleys tram shelter problems. The public have suffered quite enough. At the local Area Forum public meeting Steve Bird, Managing Director of Blackpool Transport has said that Blackpool Transport would be prepared to replace the shelters for a little advertising. Which in my opinion incidentally seems apparent in all of Blackpool Transport's colourful and unvandalised modern tram shelters.
We are acting in good faith and are hoping somebody at Wyre Borough can move on this issue very soon.
