THOSE of you out there who have been watching the news are probably at last fully aware of the real agenda of our glorious government.

Having finally admitted to themselves (if to no-one else) that their mainstream policies on health, education, transport etc. are just not working, they have now moved into desperation mode and decided upon the old favourites of extremist regimes, i.e. compulsion, oppression and tyranny.

Think I am kidding, think I am exaggerating?

Why not check out the decision this week to put toxic waste in our tap water. They call it fluoride and say it cuts tooth decay. Sorry, but people here in the North West know better. What really cuts tooth decay is not force feeding of toxic waste to the whole population but rather less poverty, better education and a decent diet that's not full of sugar, salt and fat.

Don't take my word for it, check out the other European countries that have abandoned it.

No wonder the price of water must now rise even faster than the council tax. Call me weird if you like, but I prefer my drinking water to be pure and fresh and not contaminated by industrial waste and, unlike Tony Blair, I actually know what I am talking about.

They tried to force this muck down our throats 10 years ago but the North West gave it a resounding thumbs down as they did here in Pendle. It's not that it's suddenly less toxic or more beneficial, no it's simply that they now have much more of it and they are getting desperate.

So desperate that they even changed the law to make it difficult to bring legal action. Time to stand up and be counted again folks before it's too late.

But why should it be too late you might ask. Just look at the other major decision this week -- compulsory ID cards. Excuse me, but I don't remember voting for this, or for that matter, even suggesting it.

Well, don't wait until 2013 to arrest me Blunkett, you better do it now, because I solemnly swear that I will never under any circumstance ever carry an ID card to walk through Colne or any other town in this country.
