BURY will be put on the political map on Sunday (Nov 23) in BBC1's The Politics Show.
Programme makers have been filming in the town this week, ahead of the Queen's Speech, canvassing people's opinions on Tony Blair's promise to consult the nation on future policies.
They have also interviewed Bury North MP David Chaytor and local Labour members: as well as taking shots inside the Bury Times office!
The programme, which starts at noon, will also feature a live interview by Max Cotton with residents in the town centre.
Matthew Laza, the show's producer, said: "Bury is a pivotal political town. At least one of its constituencies has to go Tory if they are to make progress. We're here to take the temperature."
