ROSEGROVE would like to welcome Kate Targett who will be patrolling the Rosegrove and Griffin areas with existing warden, Andrea Sutcliffe.
Kate's area has changed to Rosegrove. We look forward to working with her and Andrea for the benefit of the community. A big thank you to Alan Craig, who has moved to another area. The warden service provides a great service to the town.
LOWERHOUSE Bowling Club held its annual presentation night at the Rosegrove Railway Club. Mrs Margaret Gawthorpe presented the cups and shields to the winners of the club competitions, including a shield in memory of her late husband Derek. Around 70 members and guests attended the presentation.
THE fire service visited Rosegrove Infant School last week to teach Year 2 children about safety in the event of fire at home.
ST AUGUSTINE'S RC School, in Lowerhouse Lane, had a visit to their school from Warburtons Ltd. A presentation of safety jackets was given to the children by Warburtons at school assembly. The reception class visited Rosegrove Library on Wednesday.
