PARENTS and pupils are being invited to cement their loyalty to Bury C of E High School by signing up to a "buy a brick" appeal.
Each brick will have the buyer's name engraved on it and will be built into one whole wall of the reception area of the new building.
The appeal is the latest fund-raising venture launched by the school towards the cost of the sports hall. So far, more than £114,000 has been pledged towards the £125,000 which is the governors' share of the cost of the sports hall. The cost of buying a brick is £20, or £15.
