TWO people were robbed by knife-wielding thugs in Whitefield late on Sunday night.
The offenders approached the two victims, aged 21 and 22, on Park Lane between 11.15pm and 11.25pm and threatened the pair with a three inch combat knife.
Two mobile phones, cigarettes, cash, a watch and a wallet were taken by the offenders, who were both wearing black balaclavas.
One of the offenders is described as five feet seven inches tall, between 16 and 20 years old and of slim build.
He was wearing a black balaclava with slits for eyes and mouth, a padded black jacket, dark coloured trousers and black trainers.
Police are appealing for witnesses and ask that anyone with information which could help to contact Bury Robbery Unit on 0161 856 8093 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
