A 29-YEAR-OLD Colne woman was waiting for replies from prospective partners after placing an advert in the Northern Daily Telegraph -- the Lancashire Evening Telegraph's predecessor -- for a future husband.
The advert offered the potential partner a place in her country home, and said he must be interested in motoring, as she was contemplating buying a car.
