ANDY Cole's agent Paul Stretford today dismissed reports linking the Blackburn Rovers striker with a move to Manchester City.
A story over the weekend claimed Rovers were trying to line up a swap deal involving Cole and City striker Robbie Fowler.
However, the Cole camp have been quick to dismiss the latest round of speculation concerning the former England forward.
"I know nothing about it," said Stretford, who is currently in Portugal where he's keeping a close eye on his client, Wayne Rooney.
"There's been no contact from either club and as I'm pretty close to Kevin Keegan, Graeme Souness and, indeed, John Williams, I think I would know something about it if anything was happening.
"This is another case of Press speculation being over-hyped to the point of being ridiculous."
Rovers have also distanced themselves from the story by saying a swap deal has never been discussed.
