A 76-YEAR-OLD man was among six people up before Blackburn magistrates charged with conspiracy to launder the proceeds of drug trafficking and other criminal activity.
Yusuf Khansia, of Shear Bank Road, Blackburn, along with four men and one woman, were all given bail to appear at Preston Crown Court.
A seventh man, Ayub Khansia, 46, of Tintern Crescent, Blackburn, who faces the same charge but did not appear had his case adjourned until July 2.
Khansia's co-defendants are Imran Khansia, 23, of Apple Close, of Blackburn; Mohammed Akuji, 42, of St Helens Road, and Abdurrazaq Munshi, 50, of Lostock Junction Lane, both Bolton, and Salim Holden, 25, and Anisa Khansia, 22, both of Lowood Place, in Blackburn.
Holden also faces a charge of possessing a stun-gun weapon.
The charges followed a police raid in January when heroin worth £1.2million was seized from a house in Swallow Drive.
