A BURY house has been searched in connection with an investigation into a conspiracy to murder.
Police declined to identify the property but confirmed that homes were also searched in other nearby towns as well as on Merseyside and Northern Ireland.
The raids were carried out at 7am on Thursday.
Two men were arrested on Merseyside, one on suspicion of firearms offences and one on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
