A MARRIED father-of-two who vanished from his home three weeks ago has been in touch with his family.
Mark Drummond's family were left baffled and distraught by the 42-year-old's disappearance earlier this month.
Police said Mr Drummond left his home in the Accrington Road area of Burnley at around 11am on Wednesday, June 2, and has not been back since.
His wife and two children, a 17-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter, had been unable to give police any reasons to explain the disappearance after he left home without his mobile phone, wallet or house keys.
DI Steve Chard, of Burnley CID, said: "Mr Drummond has made contact with his family and has been located in the Aberdeen area of Scotland."
