A MEETING dedicated to helping entrepreneurs develop their businesses is to be held regularly in Burnley.

Burnley Business Club held its last meeting, which was deemed a success, at the Inn on the Wharf on Wednesday.

A 'mini market' was set up for nine businesses to show what they have on offer, ranging from exotic sauces to fitness classes.

The main focus of the evening was guest speaker, Kathy McArdle, a professional actor and teacher of speech and drama.

She explained to Business Club members the importance of communicating with confidence and how it can have a positive effect on any type of business.

Meetings take place every six weeks and any local businesses are invited to attend.

Debra Brown, business support manager at Burnley Enterprise said: "We are continually looking for new members to make Burnley Business Club the best in the area and welcome anyone to attend who is in business or thinking of starting a business."

The next meeting is being held on Wednesday, July 21, at the Inn on the Wharf.

Anyone interested in attending the session or finding out more information is asked to contact Lisa at Burnley Enterprise on 01282 411320.
