PUPILS at Clitheroe Grammar School are set to meet Prince Andrew when makes a whistle-stop tour to commemorate the 450th anniversary of the school's Royal Charter
The Duke of York will be visiting the school ahead of the milestone anniversary celebrations on Thursday, July 8.
During the Duke's visit, he will spend two hours meeting teachers and pupils while conducting a plaque dedication to mark his visit and a tree planting ceremony.
Headteacher Stuart Holt said: "We are all absolutely delighted that our invitation to visit the school was accepted to help us celebrate the 450th anniversary of the school's Royal Charter. We all feel honoured and are looking forward to the big day." Prince Andrew will also be visiting businesses in Fence and Padiham.
