PAST members returned to Culcheth WI to help celebrate the group's 18th birthday.
A letter was read from a founder, Mrs Helen Carey, who was unable to attend and all members were presented with a brooch to mark the occasion.
Humorous poems read by Mesdames M Appleby, J Hewitt and M Draper were well received.
The next meeting is on August 17 when Derek Meakin will discuss "The Pros and Cons of an Old Fashioned Education".
