SYLVIA Cooke showed slides and told Newchurch WI members of her Indian holiday experience then judged the souvenir competition won by Amy Williams with Dorothy Holden runner-up and Sylvia Brown third.
The president thanked Olive Lee for her flowers. The meeting closed after a word quiz and raffle.
At the next meeting at 7:30p.m. on Wednesday, July 14 in Newchurch Parish Hall Lin Edwards will talk about the miracle plant "Aloe Vera". All are welcome - more information from Mrs. J. Riley on 01925 762722.
