AN exhibition of interactive sculpture opens in Leigh on Saturday when the Art Factory returns to town.
Following the success of last year's event when visitors did their own drawings, this years is again 'hands on'.
Jan Niedojadlo's walk-in sculptures are made from discarded industrial foam, rubber and plastic and two exhibits "Shell" and "Brain" invite callers to explore the look, feel and smell of natural forms.
Brian Taylor has created a number of sculptural units from natural materials which visitors can rearrange in their own patterns and shapes, and Elaine Bennett has sculpted six Trojan cows on wheels which can be manoeuvred into different positions. There's also Matt Roby's Howlin' Heinz the Hyena, a mechanical creature who has had too many beans.
A number of artist-led workshops for children have been programmed throughout the exhibition which runs until August 7.
