SUMMER fun was enjoyed when Holcombe Brook Primary held its annual fete.
The success of the fair means that pupils are one step closer to enjoying more fun activities at playtime.
Mr Graham Howarth, head of the Longsight Road school, said: "The money will go towards improving the playground and providing more play equipment."
Teachers at Holcombe Brook Primary were this week celebrating after successfully retaining their Charter Mark for Customer Service Excellence. The school is the only one in the borough to have achieved the standard.
