THE body of a 35-year-old Accrington man was discovered in a derelict house last night.
Boys playing in Empress Street saw the body of 35-year-old Douglas Dewhurst inside. Police said the house was associated with drug users.
Inspector Steve Haworth, said the discovery was around 8pm last night. "An ambulance was called and the body was taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary for a post mortem examination. There are no suspicious circumstances."
The man was from the Accrington area but lived alone. His brother has been informed.
