BURY teenager Gareth Clark has been declared top with a trowel.
The 17-year-old has won a national award for his work during training in construction skills. Build Center, the specialist provider of heavyside building products and materials, has awarded the Bolton Community College student the Build Center prize in recognition of his skill and achievement.
Gareth, who lives in Townside Row, Bury, received a £100 voucher and a certificate.
Bolton Community College lecturer David McDonald said: "Gareth has always given 100 per cent effort. His attendance is excellent and he deserves this prize for his attitude and achievements."
David Hunter, brand director of the Build Center, said: "We are proud to recognise the achievements of new trainees."
