LIFE is sweet for the latest addition to Heaton Park's farm centre.
A new calf, named Chocolate and Cream, has been introduced to his new home and will be a regular attraction in the park as the newly refurbished animal centre is due to reopen this summer.
The brown and white bullock was born in February at a community farm in Wythenshawe Park while the Prestwich park was undergoing multi-million pound restoration work.
He has been crossed with a Hereford and has a distinctive white blaze to his head.
After his birth, Manchester City Council, which owns Heaton Park, ran a competition to name the calf and eight-year-old Matthew Hall, who attends Bowker Vale Primary School, came up with the name Chocolate and Cream because of his rich colouring and markings.
