FIRST we had Arts in the Park in Blackburn, which catered for everybody, eg entertainment, music, food and drink.
Then the following week we have the Mela and we are expected to take an interest in Asian culture.
But on visiting the Mela we find no beer tent.
This is supposed to be an event to encourage people from all races to mix together.
Just because the Asians don't drink (or are not supposed to drink) that does not mean that everyone else can't have a drink.
We were looking forward to going to Witton Park for this event and as we had taken the time to walk to the venue we were looking forward to a glass of beer.
But needless to say we didn't stay.
