THE Great Harwood Prospects Panel held a consolation over how the town's Railway Cuttings could be improved.
It now plans to form an association of residents to look after the area's interests and suggest how the council-owned land could be used.
Secretary of the panel, Barbara Sharples, said: "Basically the area has become a bit shabby and needs new life breathing into it. We held a stall to ask people what was good, bad and ugly about the area and what they wanted to see done.
"We had a very good response and want to help them set up a group to look after the Cuttings, so it is up to them to do something about it."
A meeting has been organised for Monday, September 6, at Great Harwood's Victoria Hotel for residents' feedback on the ideas.
