OUR water bills are set to rise by a massive amount over the next few years. We have been told that this is to replace Victorian systems which are now breaking down.
I believe that this is not the real reason. The real reason is that we must comply with European directives for purer water.
We already have the purest water in Europe. Why else are we encouraged to drink and clean our teeth in bottled water when holidaying on the continent?
