PADIHAM Allotments Association and Garden Club is preparing for its 50th Annual Flower Show.
The event, at Padiham Town Hall, on Saturday, August 28, will be opened by the Mayor and Mayoress of Padiham Mark and Denise Jinkinson, at 2.15pm.
There are more than 70 classes for flowers, vegetables, confectionary and wine, five classes for children to enter, including a pasta shapes picture.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the show, organisers have doubled the prize money for winners.
Entry forms are available from 14 Spencer Street, 42 Church Street and 18 River Drive, all in Padiham, and 31 Whalley Road, in Read.
Closing date for entries is Wednesday, August 25, and there is a 10p entrance fee for all classes, except children's classes which are free.
Participants will be asked to set up from 9am to noon on the day of the show.
