THE skies above East Lancashire were filled with colour at one of the region's biggest festivals.
Balloons over Barlick saw more than 40 hot air balloons make their way across the Barnoldswick.
Entertainment included local band Now Then who provided a taster for the town's first acoustic festival, Barlick Unplugged, later this month.
The action then shifted to Victory Park for a 1970s-style Balloon Boogie.
The event, in its fifth year, concluded with a night glow from the balloons and a fireworks finale.
Coun David Whipp said: "The whole event was a great success and the night glow was especially magical."
Barlickers also took part in the first ever Beating the Bounds nine-mile walk around the town, led by Barnoldswick's town crier, Liz Woolnough.
