DAVE Bradford feels he is getting a settled squad together as he prepares for tonight's trip to Glossop North End.

The NWCL Division One fixture gives the Great Harwood Town manager a chance to recover from Saturday's FA Cup preliminary round exit at the hands of Glasshoughton Welfare.

The Yorkshire side were awarded two penalties, one which was taken twice and saved on both occasions by Bobby Harris, but the other was converted to give them the first goal in a 2-0 win.

"It was very disappointing for us, particularly after we produced our best 45 minutes of the season in the first half," said Bradford.

"We had many good chances but the referee just lost the plot in the second half.

"But, there are still plenty of positives, for instance Lewis Hanlin who played excellently throughout.

"I'm starting to get the players out on the field that I want and that makes me optimistic.

"Hopefully we can bounce back from this quickly."
