IWOULD like to wish you every success in your bid to retain the identity of the Queens Lancashire Regiment.
My late father was an old soldier in the First World War and was one of the four Old Contemptibles who went to the front in 1914.
He survived to live until his 76th birthday. I myself am now 81 years-old.
